In M.A. in Geography, the main focus is more on the social science aspect of the subject i.e. on Human Geography which is an area of study that includes to built environment and how space is created, viewed and managed by humans as well as the influence humans have on the space they occupy. The M.A. Department of Geography provides an advanced foundation in geography, bringing students up to date with the latest developments in their chosen fields of study. This program has been designed for students who want to follow a program at the Masters level in Geography in which they can maximize their choice of taught modules. Students enrolled for the M.A. Geography program are expected to take most of their options in human geography.

Must have completed a bachelor’s degree, either B.A. or B.Sc., in Geography.  Score a minimum of at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s program from a recognized university.
